Hi, I’m Ching Ya, a work-from-home mom of two, and a passionate content creator dedicated to provide useful information for my audience.
What do I Write About
I cover social media how-tos, new trends and online tools that can help small businesses thrive in their networking efforts. Lately, my focus has expanded to include content about video production for social media platforms. I also research topics on AI tools and trends.
Past Experience
I previously served as the Content Creator for a website where I wrote about brand design topics and I helped graphic designers boost their brand visibility across different social networks. Starting in 2017, I revamped the website’s content to make it more comprehensive and insightful. Also, I played a key role in building the site’s social media presence from scratch and achieved significant growth, especially on:
- Instagram (94k+ followers), and
- Pinterest (15.6k followers; 10m+ monthly views)

Having accomplished these milestones, I transitioned from my role as Content Creator to pursue new opportunities.
My Mission
Ever since I started blogging in 2009, so much have changed. As much as I love social media, I don’t like the idea that smaller brands are often left out in the social media whirlwind. And I absolutely disagree with purchasing likes and followers on any social media platform.
So, my job here is to educate people to:
- Value quality over quantity,
- Be creative with your content,
- Have confidence in using social media to reach out to prospects,
- Treat social media as a tool, not the main asset of your business.
In the past, I helped small businesses customize their Facebook pages and set up blogs to enhance their online presence. Nowadays, I create tutorials like these on youtube and mini-courses for small businesses to help them stay current with the latest trends. More recently, I also collaborate with a new brand to create select video content on its YouTube channel. Here are some examples of the explainer videos I made:

Some other things
I have some interesting hobbies that I’ve developed over time, and I’m enjoying the best of both worlds (family + work). Although challenging, I’m living the best time of my life, which I’ll be sharing with you on another day, or maybe a chat over coffee : )

Want my #1 advice? Never value work and money over health and relationships. Because kids are growing up so fast and you can only live once. Treasure each day as if it were your last.
Content creation is challenging, but let’s all encourage one another to love what we do and be sure to enjoy life to the fullest. No regrets.
